Great message from Limburg Police Dogs:
"Last night around 9:00 PM, our dog handler was asked to go to Venlo, where a burglary had recently taken place.
The first dog handler immediately began searching for the suspect, but after a while, his dog became tired. The second dog handler then decided to deploy his surveillance dog, Dex. Dex is a new addition to the team and, together with his handler, recently passed their first inspection.
The search continued from the last known location where the suspect was seen. Tracks, presumably from the suspect, were still visible in a nearby cornfield. The handler commanded Dex to pick up the track.
Dex immediately took the lead and pulled his handler into the field. After searching zigzagging for a while, Dex turned right, and in line with that, the handler saw the suspect lying on the ground. Upon seeing Dex, The suspect immediately surrendered. He was arrested on the spot."
